How Open House London, The World’s Largest Architecture Festival, Used RoR for its Operations

If you have ever visited London, you may have noticed its beautiful architecture. The mixture of classic and contemporary buildings has attracted the attention of tourists and residents alike.

Open House London was created to enable people to explore these amazing buildings for free. It is an annual festival celebrating the architecture and urban landscape of London, staged by the charity Open City that campaigns to make London a more accessible, equitable and open city. During the Open House festival, many buildings considered to be of architectural significance open their doors for free public tours.

With 365,000 visits in a single weekend, Open House is the largest festival of architecture and urban landscape in the world.

An event of this magnitude needs to operate efficiently to handle the many people who attend, as well as the buildings, in an organized manner, which is why they have used different technologies to support its event operations. This is the area where we have helped Open House to run the event successfully for several years.
